Teresita Trevino

Teresita (Terry) Trevino, 75, of Hobbs passed away on September 5, 2023.  She was born in Karnes City, Texas on July 26, 1948, to Martin and Lupe Cantu.  

Terry was married to Ronald Crume for 3 years before his untimely passing.  Terry was then blessed to be married to Jessie Trevino for 44 years.   She was a proud mother of 3 children: Tammy Crume Romero, Timothy Crume and Neal Trevino.    She was a loving grandmother to 10 grandchildren:  Sadie Plisko, Lathan Romero, Alexus Aguirre, Jazmin Trevino, JessiePaul Trevino, Raelynn Trevino, Nicole Trevino, Angelina Trevino, Irene Dominguez, and Joseph Lerma.  She was an adoring great-grandmother to 7 great-grandchildren.

Terry was a faithful homemaker to her husband and children.   She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and would never say no to a trip to play Bingo or to the Casino.   Terry knew no stranger.  Once you met Terry, you were an instant friend and became part of her extended family.   Family was important to her, and she was happiest when surrounded by her family, including her friends whom she considered family.    Terry was a devout Catholic and enjoyed her time praying the rosary with her group of faithful friends.     She had a strong faith and believed in the power of prayer and the intercessions of our Blessed Mother. 

Terry was preceded in death by her father Martin Cantu, her husbands Ronald Crume and Jessie Trevino.   She is survived by her mother, sisters Sally Colvin and Christy Lopez,  brother Danny Cantu, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who were her extended family. 

Terry’s family and friends celebrate that she is now reunited with her loving husband, Jessie, and so many others whom she missed dearly.  They are excited to know that she is whole again and able to see the world in brand new way.   They know she is an angel that will watch over all of them always.
