Timothy Lowe

Timothy Jackson Lowe of Hobbs, NM passed away Friday, September 3, 2021, after his battle with Covid. Tim was born October 18, 1972, to Thurman and Darlene Lowe. He grew up in Hobbs, NM and attended Hobbs Municipal Schools until graduating in 1991; his education was continued at NMJC where he participated in Hobbs Community Band and obtained an Associates of Applied Science. Tim and Tamra were married on March 2, 1996. He started as a volunteer firefighter with Knowles and Monument Fire Departments before his career with the City of Hobbs Fire Department on August 20, 2000, where he was also an EMT-I. Tim answered his last alarm with his brothers on April 8, 2017, to round out 25 years of fire service. After retirement, he transferred to the private sector and worked for OXY. In his free time, he enjoyed going to the lake, spending time with his family, and watching sports. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Tamra; children Trinity and her husband Geovanni and Tristin Faye; granddaughters Emersyn and Rylee.
