Tomasita Doporto

Tomasita R. "Connie" Doporto, 79, was born in Artesia, NM on March 7, 1939. She passed away in Roswell on October 1, 2018.

She married Elias Doporto on November 16, 1958 in Artesia. She loved to cook for friends and family and sewing. Connie enjoyed watching football and her family was most important to her. She loved her grandchildren and family and taking care of her grandchildren. She attended Assembly of God Church in Hobbs.

She is survived by her son Michael Doporto (Brenda) of Hobbs, daughter; Dianna Cordero (Gilbert) of Roswell, and Angela Gamboa, whom she loved as a daughter and her husband Art of Albuquerque, four brothers; Adolf Ramirez (Gloria) and Adam Ramirez (Kathy) of Albuquerque, Joe Ramirez (Elizabeth) of Torreon, NM, and Frank Ramirez (Dolores) of Artesia, two sisters; Mayo Salmon of Albuquerque, NM and Becky Quezada (Lazaro) of Pittsburgh, TX, five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; Joe and Maria Ramirez, two brothers; Larry and Sammy Ramirez, and one sister, Margie Artiaga.
