Victor Lopez Sr.

Victor Manuel Lopez, Sr, 81, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019, in Hobbs, NM. He passed peacefully in his sleep at home with his wife and sister at his side. He was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico on July 14, 1937. He worked for the City of Hobbs Street Dept. for 20 years, until his retirement in 1999. He had been battling cancer for 6 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, laughing and telling jokes.

He is survived by his wife, of 60 years, Graciela Lopez, 8 sons, Victor Jr. (Cora) of Odessa, TX, Ignacio Rick of San Antonio, TX, Jose Raul of Chihuahua, Mx, Ramon (Terri) of San Antonio, Tx, Danny of Overland Park, KS, Eddie of Hobbs, Rene of St. Petersburg, FL, and Jorge (Cricket) of Hobbs. 21 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren, 1 sister, Maria Antonietta Madero (Coty) of Norco, CA, numerous nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be his 8 sons and burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Hobbs.
