alignjustifyMrs. Lawrence, 73, died April 5, 2009, at Desert Gardens. She was born Ocober. 18, 1935, in Ranger, Texas.

alignjustifyShe married W. C. Lawrence September 13, 1966, in Roswell, New Mexico.

alignjustifyVirginia had been a resident of Desert Gardens in Hobbs since April 2008.

alignjustifySurvivors include a brother, Paul Young of Hobbs; a sister, Pat Young Howard of Keller, Texas; a brother-in-law, Cecil Howard of Keller, Texas; a sister, Norma Hoskinson of Viola, Wisconsin; four nieces, Aprill Harrod and Pam Ashcraft of Ruidoso, New Mexico; Donna Simonson of Viola, Wisconsin, and Brandi Young of Hobbs; three nephews, Jesse Young of Hobbs, Britt McCormick of PIano, Texas, and Todd McCormick of Tatura Victoria, Australia; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

alignjustifyVirginia was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Lawrence on Auust 8, 2006; her parents, Elmo and Nell Young; and a brother, Rock Ashcraft.
