W. R. Ruth

WR "DUB" Ruth, 84, of Eunice, NM, went to be with his heavenly father on December 29, 2023.

He was born on March 26th, 1939, in Coalgate, Oklahoma to Herman and Lois Ruth.

He married Anna Smith on May 8th, 1959, and had 4 children. Judy and Mitch Cooper of Allen TX, Donal Mike and Stephanie Ruth of Brownwood TX, Teresa and Allon Dobbs of Jal NM, and Bradley Ruth of Carlsbad, NM.

He worked in the oilfield from 1965 until he retired in 2020.

He was an avid golfer and loved to fish with his family.

Dub is survived by his wife Anna and 4 children, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter, his brother Jackie and wife Doris, brother Johnny and a sister Paulette, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both parents, his brothers William and Willard, sisters Pauline and Mary.
