Wayne Creed

Memorial services for Wayne C. Creed will be Monday 2:00 p.m., January 21, 2013, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Star Hospice Chaplain Steve Lord officiating. Wayne died January 17, 2013, in Hobbs. He was born July 29, 1930, in Wellington, TX, to W. C. and Kitty Creed. He married Jean Creed June 18, 1967, in Hobbs.

Wayne was employed in the oilfield. He enjoyed sports but especially the Dallas Cowboys. His family was his greatest joy in life.

Surviving Wayne is a daughter, Keitha Chenault of Hobbs 3 sons, Lonnie Creed, and wife Claudia, of Hobbs, Monty Creed, and wife Connie, of Albuquerque and Wayne Faulk of Hobbs sister, Rita Wolford of Lubbock a brother, Jerry Creed, of Lubbock and 8 grandchildren and numerous greatgrandchildren.

Preceding Wayne in death was his wife Jean, who died April, 2010.
