William Garza

Billy G. Garza, 62, of Hobbs, NM, passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022. Billy was born Dec. 25, 1959 in McCamey, Tx, the son of Joe Garza & Esther Granado. He attended Odessa High and continued his career as a welder until retirement. In December 1997, Billy was united in marriage with Janice L. Munoz, of Hobbs. Billy enjoyed construction, remodeling in his spare time, and enjoyed quality time with his grand kids. His favorite things to do with them was to build campfires and work with tools .Before his death Billy and Janice traveled to Chandler AZ, and San Deigo CA. to celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary. Billy was survived by his wife Janice Garza, his two children: daughter Ashley; and husband Mike, son Marcus and wife Jackie , 5 grandchildren: Manuel, Malerie, and Maleki Mata, Michael and Major Floyd. His two siblings: Sister Rachel and husband Luis of Mertzen,Tx and sister Norma and wife Tracy of Spicewood, Tx, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Esther Granado, maternal grandparents Apolonio & Maria Granado, and niece Melanie Cadena.
