W. Murlin Webb

Hobbs

William Murlin Webb (who disliked being called William) was born in Pampa, Texas on December 11, 1956, to Stanley Wayne and Norma June Webb. He walked through the Pearly White Gates of Heaven at 4:29 A.M. on May 8, 2025, from his home in Hobbs, New Mexico after a very long fight with cancer.

He is survived by his wife and best friend Tina Webb of Hobbs, New Mexico, 7 children Brandon Johnson of Espanola, New Mexico, Kyle Johnson and girlfriend Kayleigh of Hobbs, Kody Webb and wife Samantha of Hobbs, Timmy Hardin of Monument, New Mexico, Rebecca Cuellar and husband Javier of Louisiana, Ashley Johnson and significant other Jamie of Hobbs, and Michelle DeLeon and husband Roberto of Hobbs. He is also survived by 18 grandbabies, a brother Jerry Webb and wife Evelyn of Mt. Vernon, Texas, several nieces, nephews, cousins, a ton of friends and anyone who needed a dad or papa.

Murlin is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and June Webb and two brothers, David and James Webb. Murlin led a very full life and loved his wife, grandbabies, and kids! We will all miss him very dearly.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Lodge in Lubbock, Texas.
