Wilma Joyce Bingham was born April 17, 1932, in Pauls Valley, OK. Joyce went to be with her Lord and Savior April 19, 2022, in Hobbs, NM at the age of 90 years.
Joyce became a cosmetologist and instructor over 50 years ago and spent most of her career at the Good Samaritan Village and Alto Village Beauty Salons. She also worked in the office of Zia RVillas and was a bookkeeper for WDB Electric for many years. Joyce was a member of the Good Samaritan Village Auxiliary serving as treasurer for over 20 years.
Joyce was a member of Crosswinds Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and her husband of 60 years, Donald E. Bingham Sr.
She is survived by four children, Sons: Don Bingham Jr. and wife Denise of Edmond, Ok, Dale Bingham of Hobbs of NM. Daughters: Janell Rice and husband Trey of Hobbs, NM, and Denise Mauldin of Lubbock, TX. Seven grandchildren: Amanda Tatum and husband Zach of Moore, OK, Lindsey Smith of Lubbock, TX, Allison Daugherty and husband Seth of Edmond, OK., Weston Mauldin of Lubbock, TX., Derek Rice and wife Haley of Midland, TX., Morgan Bingham of Hobbs, NM., Jared Rice and wife Lauren of Hobbs, NM. She has 13 great grandchildren: Olivia, Sophie, Zane and Ian Tatum, Kynlee Smith, Jude Jacobs and Cage Daugherty, Charlotte and Carson Rice, Braxton Bingham, Lane, Jinsen and Audrey Rice.
A birthday celebration “90 Years Loved” was held on April 16, 2022, with family and many friends in attendance. A private memorial will be held at a later date in Paoli, OK.
