Winfred Dean Sutton, 74 was born July 7, 1948 in Golden, Oklahoma to Dinzel and Lottie Sutton. He passed away on December 15, 2022 in Lubbock TX.

Win grew up in Stigler, Oklahoma where he attended and graduated from Stigler High School. After high school Win moved to Seminole TX, then onto Hobbs, NM where he then entered into the U.S. Army but was honorably discharged due to a spinal condition. After exiting the service Win started his career with John West Engineering where he met his wife, Beverly Henderson. Win and Beverly got married on January 31, 1975 in Lovington, NM. Win later changed careers and went to work for Guardian Well Service where he retired from.

Win often attended local auctions where he purchased items to sale or trade. He loved and enjoyed working and detailing vehicles to pass his free time. He often helped people whenever it was needed. Win was very proud of his daughters and always enjoyed spending as much time as possible assisting them.

Win leaves behind his wife Beverly, two daughters Heather Ray and her husband Todd and Stacey Wynn and her husband David all of Hobbs, seven grandchildren Alyssa Barreraz, Julian Barreraz, Cameron Barreraz, Becky Jackson, Aidan Jackson, Jace Barreraz and Alex Wynn all of Hobbs. Two brothers Ken Sutton of San Antonio TX. and Doug Sutton of Lubbock TX., one sister Bernice Mitchell of Lubbock TX. and numerous nieces and nephews. Win was definitely loved and will be missed by all his friends and family. As Christians we have that reassurance that we will see him again in heaven.

Win is preceded in death by his parents Dinzel and Lottie Sutton, sister Geneva Sutton and brother Claudus Ray Sutton.
