Bo Nix

James Bo Nix, born June 27 1962, unexpectedly passed away on May 3, 2023 at 60 years of age. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many.

Bo served in the Navy for four years alongside his brother Joe on the USS Yosemite. After being discharged from the Navy, he started his career in logistics, which served him in all his entrepreneurial endeavors.

In 1994, Bo met and married Jena Cecil and went on to have two daughters, Savanna and Kassidy. Bo loved to spend time fishing and gardening, and always had a love for Disney vacations and Jimmy Buffett. However, he found his true purpose as a loving family man and in his unshakable faith in God.

Bo was preceded in death by his brothers Joe Nix and Butch Hennessee. To cherish his memory are his wife, Jena, two daughters, Savanna (Bobby) Fleetwood and Kassidy (Jacob) Burkett, parents, Gary and Kitty Hennessee, in-laws, James and Wanda Cecil, brother-in-law, Jim Cecil, sister’s-in-law Barbara Cecil and Juanice (Ron) Tucker, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
