Cary William Murdock

Cary was born in Oklahoma City to Doc (Cary, Sr.) and Dorothy on February 5, 1937, and passed away on March 15, 2023 in Carlsbad. He was a kind oldest brother, a loving, faithful, and dedicated husband, and a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend to so many. Cary touched many lives with his humble and fun-loving presence. Always ready to help others, a champion for those less fortunate. He was loyal employee of Watson Truck & Supply for 50 years.  

With gratitude to each of you as you remember Cary, please know what he would want you to know, that this life is only the beginning, and that Jesus came so that we might all have life to the fullest on both this side of Heaven, and for eternity.

Cary is survived by a loving wife, Ann, four sons: Patrick (wife, Holly), Chris (wife, Kim), Jeff, and William (wife, Lesley), his youngest brother John (wife, Patsy), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to be made to Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) in Cary’s name.
