Jacklyn (Dickey) Lathram

Jacklyn Lathram entered into Heaven on March 30, 2022, to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born May 1, 1929, to Opal and Watson Dickey in Abilene, TX. After graduating high school Jacklyn attended Texas Women’s University in Denton, TX graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. She moved to Hobbs, NM to be near her family and soon met her husband, Doyle Lathram. They married October 7, 1954, made their home in Hobbs, raised 4 children, and enjoyed 52 years of marriage. Jacklyn worked for and retired from NL Acme Tool. She and Doyle became members of the Oddfellow’s and Rebekah’s where they both served as Grand Nobles as well as serving in other positions for many years. She enjoyed life to its fullest, looked forward to family gatherings and vacations. Hummingbirds and Cardinals were her favorite birds.

Jacklyn was preceded in death by her parents, sister Charlene Charsha, a granddaughter Krista Lathram, and her love Doyle Lathram.

She is survived by her children Kendall (Jeannie), Philip (Kellijo), Rodney (Tammie) and daughter Connie Mendoza. Her grandchildren Heather Brown, Kyle Lathram (Jackie), Braden Lathram (Jenna), Justin Lathram (Shelbi), Kelli Sledge, Joby Lathram, Jordan (Kelsey), Colton Lathram (Lauren), Alicia Smith (Dustin) and Alicin Lathram. Step grandsons Mason (Cassandra) and Landon Laskowski. Jacklyn has 12 great grandchildren.
